所谓的生产率是指生产系统输出的产品或服务与生产这些产品或服务与生产这些产品和服务所消耗的资源之比。生产率是经济发展的基础，对于管理者来说，生产率是一个比较工具，想要提高生产率，需要提高生产系统的输出而减少其消耗的资源。在资源消耗量一定或减少的情况下，增加产出；在产出一定或增加的情况下，减少资源消耗量；资源消耗量略微增加，但产出大幅度增加；产出略微减少，但资源消耗量大幅度减少。影响的因素主要有两大类：技术因素和行为因素。
